Board Exam Class 12 Cancelled | Latest News CBSE Class 12 Exam Cancellation |
Taking a massive decision in order to clear all the doubts and dilemmas of class 12 students, the Central Board of Examination and the Central government of India (with the consent of all state education secretaries) have decided to call off the board examination which were to be held soon. Students of class 12 had been requesting the honourable Prime Minister of India through Twitter and other medium of communication for a long time to cancel the examination. Students were tensed and had no idea whatsoever about the commencement of their exams. Having taken an important virtual meeting with all state education secretaries to review Covid-19 situation and its aftermaths on students, the honourable Prime Minister of India (Mr. Narender Modi) has, ultimately, decided to cancel board exams for class XII.
PM Modi made it absolutely clear in a meeting held today that their government’s utmost priority is to save the lives of the students nothing else. Furthermore, he added that this decision has been taken in the interest of the students.Besides, he assured all the students that Class XII Board Result will be made as per a well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner. Earlier the honourable Chief Minister of Delhi Mr. Arvind Kejriwal and Education Minister Mr. Manish Sisodia had requested CBSE and Central Government of India to cancel the examination for it could lead to deterioration of COVID-19 and have serious aftermaths.
Experts View
According to the experts of education sector, this decision will definitely bring a smile to the face of students waiting for their board exams to be cancelled. Had CBSE taken this decision earlier, it would have lessened the stress and concern of the students. For the time being, it has not been cleared how the students will be promoted to next level or what the criteria would be to reach colleges.
