 What is Description of an individual?

Description of an individual is a biographical sketch of someone’s life. It starts at birth and goes to the present time. It talks about major events, like what happened in their lives, and how it affected them. It is a part of Class 9 English and usually put up in a form of question from the students.

1. You love your mother very much, for she is an ideal mother. Describe her in your own words in 100-150 words.

Answer:

My mother’s name is Mrs. Saroj Sachdeva. She is very nice and caring. She loves me a lot. But she is also busy with her work, so sometimes I have to do things myself. But she always pays attention to me and helps my sister with chores around the house. I think that she is an ideal mother for me, because once I was sick, she took time off from work and did not sleep the whole night while sitting next to me until I got better again. When I got better again, it felt like a big relief for her too! My mother is my friend who helps me know what’s going on in life. Without her by my side, I would be lost!

2. Describe your favourite politician in about 100-150 words.

Answer:

My favorite politician is Mr. Narendra Modi who is the current Prime Minister of India and was born on 17th September 1950. He has a full name: Narendra Damodardas Modi. He grew up in Vadnagar, Mehsana Gujarat, and he took office on May 30th, 2019 for his second term as Prime Minister of India. He is a person who rose from the bottom to the top. His family was poor and he sold tea as a boy. Today Narendra Modi is a leader of development and people like him very much because he helps them more than anyone else does. He has proved that success does not depend on things like where you come from or what your religion is. He is the first prime minister in India whose mother was alive when he took office. In the Lok Sabha, he represents Varanasi and is a very good strategist for his party. Since 2014, he has been the current prime minister of India and before this, he served as chief minister in Gujarat from 2001 to 2014.

I love the way he addresses the nation. Therefore, he is my favourite one among all the politicians of our nation.
